Jesse Robinson? @ Jesse26Robinson: Made the decision on where I will be playing ball next year! # OSU # GOCOWBOYS
Robinson has helped block for a devastating L.D. Bell offense that helped defeat Irving Nimitz last Friday 41-0. The Blue Raiders are 7-2 and close out their regular season with a game against Colleyville Heritage this week before heading into the playoffs.
Robinson is a solid three-star prospect by Scout.com and has scholarship offers from the likes of Kansas State, Houston, Nevada, and Arkansas State, and is still being evaluated by other programs.
Robinson was at an Oklahoma State junior day in the spring and then made an unofficial visit for the Iowa State game in October. "It went really good," said Robinson after that visit. "We got to see all of the campus, and there was a lot going on.
"The game was pretty good. They gave up a few plays early but then made corrections and shut them down after that. I came with my dad, one of my teammates, safety Kamari Syrie, and Vili Leveni. Vili is a defensive end that is also being recruited by Oklahoma State."
Robinson said he did get some quality time with the coaches.
"I'd been up there on junior day, but this time before the game my dad and I got to sit down and talk with Coach (Joe) Wickline for about 10 to 15 minutes. I shook hands with Coach (Mike) Gundy and then got to talk to him some after the game."
Jesse Robinson is the 17th commitment overall for Oklahoma State and he is the fourth confirmed commitment by an offensive line prospect.
